The Pirate's Dice — Privacy Policy

Application com.nabil.piratesdice · last updated 20 August 2026

This game is small and so is this policy. It says exactly what the app stores, where it goes, and how to make it disappear.

What the game keeps

DataWhyWhere
Your Play Games player ID (or, if you play as a guest, a random identifier generated on your device) It is your account: it carries your captain, your coins and your ranking The game server
Your display nameSo other captains can see who they are playing The game server
Match results, coins, Elo rating, items bought in the in-game shop The game itselfThe game server
Chosen language and sound settingsTo keep your preferences Your device only — never sent anywhere

What the game does not collect

No email address. No phone number. No contacts, photos, files or location. No advertising identifier. There is no advertising in the app, and no analytics service of any kind. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.

Signing in with Google

Signing in uses Google Play Games. Google gives the game a player identifier and a display name — not your Google account, not your email address. The app never sees your password. If you decline, or if Play Games is unavailable, the game creates a guest account tied to your device instead.

How it travels, and how long it stays

All traffic between the app and the server is encrypted (HTTPS / WSS). Data is kept for as long as the account exists, and is deleted immediately when you ask.

Deleting your data

In the app: ⚙ Settings → Erase my data and account. This permanently deletes your captain, coins, ranking and items. Past matches keep their scores for the other players, without any link to you.

You may also write to the address below; deletion is done within 30 days.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13. It contains no purchases and no free-text chat: players can only send one of five fixed emoji to express a mood during a match. No message is written, stored, or shown outside the match in progress.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.

Borrar tus datos: ⚙ Ajustes → «Borrar mis datos y mi cuenta», o escribe a n.ouldterki@gmail.com.

What players can send each other

During a match a player may tap one of five fixed emoji to show a mood. That is the only thing one player can send another. There is no free text, no voice, no images, and no way to reach a player outside a match. Nothing sent this way is written to the database: it is relayed to the opponent’s screen and forgotten. The server never even handles the emoji themselves — it validates a number from 0 to 4 and passes it on.
